Just a touch over two years ago we learned that actor Noah Centineo had been cast as Prince Adam/He-Man in the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe live-action movie (here).
However, it now seems he’s left the project which, since we’ve heard almost nothing about it since then, isn’t really that surprising.
The movie is being penned and directed by Band of Robbers’ Aaron and Adam Nee however, now a representative for the actor has said “He is no longer attached to that project”.
Centineo has since signed on to play, and is currently filming, Atom Smasher in the Black Adam movie with Dwayne Johnson, so he’s now part of the DCEU and he’s also signed on for a couple of big projects at Netflix, so he’s likely going to be busy for the foreseeable future.
Honestly, I would be very surprised if we saw a live-action return to Eternia on the big screen anytime soon as this is a movie that, ever since the 80s Dolph Lungren outing, has been stuck in development hell.
But I hope I’m proved wrong.
Would you be excited for a He-Man and the Masters of the Universe movie? Let me know your thoughts, gang,
