Kick-Ass 2 writer/director Jeff Wadlow has finished his script for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Em yay?
Fans of the original cartoon will remember the series was about Eternia’s Prince Adam who has a sword that turns him into a superhero. His enemy is the half skeleton/half human Skeletor as they battle for Castle Greyskull. It was also a (rather poor) movie in the 1980s starring Dolph Lungren as the hero.
GI Joe: Retaliation director John Chu has previously been attached to direct this new movie version. However, he stepped down and Wadlow came onboard as writer – a list of writers had already come and gone, including Pirates of the Caribbean writer Terry Rossio and The Equalizer writer Richard Wenk and their names and others are still not he script listed in the Tweet below.
Wadlow is currently also favourite to direct the movie according to online rumblings, should it ever happen.
