We reported a while back that Arnie really wanted another Expendables movie (here) and now it looks like Sylvester Stallone is already working on it. And the villain.

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan may be set to hassle the aging mercenaries in the fourth adventure.

The wrestler/actor has confirmed that Stallone is chatting with him and he’s going to be a very big bad, indeed:  “Was talking on the phone with Sly about doing The Expendables 4. We’re trying to figure out a way to maybe turn me into the most evil man in the world. Y’know, Stallone gave me my first break and he’s been a great friend for all these years … We had a great conversation, talking about the possibilities. Can I still run, can I still jump? Well, not as fast or not as high, but I think Hollywood could find a good stunt man to help me out.”

Of course Hogan is referring to Rocky III in which he played Thunderlips and fought Rocky in a charity match (below). We really hope this scene gets a re-play in the fourth Expendables movie. Seriously.

So what do you think? Could Hogan be the man for the job? Only time will tell and we’ll keep you in the loop

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
