While we’re all counting the days until the release of Into The Spider-verse 2 on April 8th, 2022, we’re trying our best to gleam any little bit of information we can get.
And the official Twitter (below) just gave us a big new tip with a couple of very awesome images of Spider-man 2099, who is likely to be the star – or one of the stars – of the show, telling us we’re one year closer to 2022… and we certainly are that:

Don’t forget we already had this brilliant tease of Spider-man 2099 in the original movie with Oscar Isaac in the role, and if it’s anywhere near as fun second time out, we’re in for a lot of fun…
Spider-man 2099’s real identity is Miguel O’Hara who is a geneticist in New York (renamed Nueva York) in the year, you guessed it, 2099 who wants to recreate the abilities of the legendary Spider-man (Peter Parker to you and me) and accidentally rewrites half of his DNA to that of a real spider.
Man, this movie is going to be great!
