Could we be close to getting the first trailer for Star Wars: Episode IX?
C3PO actor Anthony Daniels took to Twitter to share a rather teasing message:
Now, obviously this could be anything, but given that we know Daniels has finished filming on the movie – and likely as C3PO forever – we think it’s likely Disney/Lucasfilm might give him the honour of sharing the first look at the highly anticipated (even after The Last Jedi) sequel.
We’ll have to wait and see… but something is coming.
Directed by J. J. Abrams, Star Wars: Episode IX stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, Keri Russell, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, and Billy Dee Williams. Carrie Fisher will appear as General Leia Organa through the use of previously unreleased footage shot for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Star Wars: Episode IX will be released in theaters on December 19, 2019.
