Could No Country For Olf Men star Javier Bardem be set to tangle with Johnny Depp’s Capt Jack Sparrow in the next Pirates of the Caribbean?
The next movie in the increasingly dire franchise – dubbed Dead Men Tell No Tales – will see Depp reprise the role of Capt Jack for the fifth time and it looks like Bardem could be a newcomer to the series as Brand – a role previously attached to Christoph Waltz.
Bardem’s wife Penelope Cruz appeared in the last movie Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales comes to theaters July 7th, 2017 and stars Johnny Depp. The film is directed by Joachim Rønning andEspen Sandberg.
