The new film adaptation of DC heroine Wonder Woman directed by Patty Jenkins is set to go into production later this month and as time draws nearer we are slowly receiving more tidbits of casting info.
We have already had confirmation that Chris Pine will be involved in the film but he is reluctant to specify who with many speculating he will be assuming the role of Steve Trevor and of course we know that Gal Gadot will be leading the charge as the Warrior Amazon herself.
Today we have also heard a juicy rumour that Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman is in talks to appear possibly in a role as well, that of Wonder Woman’s mother and leader of the Amazons, Queen Hippolyta. To me, this is inspired casting and would love it if it were true but for now treat this as a rumour.
We will keep you informed if more solid info comes to light.
