Big news coming out of Variety (via Squareeyed) on Monday night indicates that Disney and Lucasfilm are closer to finding out who will replace Han Solo in the upcoming anthology film.
According to them, thousands of actors has been whittled list down to about a dozen with Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, Jack Reynor, Scott Eastwood, Logan Lerman, Emory Cohen and Everybody Wants Some actor Blake Jenner among the names making the cut. All the actors are pictured at the bottom of the page.

On a personal note, while all these young men are fine actors in their own right, we here at FTN still feel that Anthony Ingruber is the only choice to play the young Solo in the upcoming movie.
The young actor does an awesome Ford impersonation and can be seen pictured below with Harrison Ford in the movie The Age of Adaline in which he played a younger version of Ford’s character. Check out Ingruber’s impersonations of Han Solo here and him playing the young Ford in the movie here.
