Woah! Has Sylvester Stallone signed on to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2?!

The image above, according to the Daily News, has the actor with the script of the new movie: “Sylvester Stallone was caught on camera Friday heading to the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. He is pictured holding a script, likely evidence of a role in the sequel to the 2014 blockbuster.”

Stallone, 69, “was spotted leaving an Atlanta hotel where the movie’s cast stays [and] then got into a car usually assigned to Chris Pratt.”

Stallone and Kurt Russell in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2?! Yes, please!

Now, let the speculation begin… if he is in it, who would he be playing?

Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is written and directed by James Gunn. The film marks the return of the original Guardians, including Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord; Zoe Saldana as Gamora; Dave Bautista as Drax; Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot; Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket; Michael Rooker as Yondu; Karen Gillan as Nebula; and Sean Gunn as Kraglin. New cast members include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
