Now that filming has wrapped for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it’s only a matter of time before we start getting more and more details on the film and it’s plot. If one story is to be believed, the plot will not only be focused heavily on Superman, but it’ll address many complaints fans had about Man of Steel.

BVS is supposedly set a couple years after Man of Steel, where Superman has been doing his best to endear himself to the people, and it’s working apparently. Save for people named Lex Luthor and Bruce Wayne, who don’t trust him. Clark also has progressed with his relationship with Lois, and is still working at the Daily Planet.

Anyway, there are a couple tidbits worth noting right off. Mainly that the other countries of the world aren’t as…welcoming of Superman as we are. They view him as a puppet, or a tool for the US, instead of a true man of the people like we know he is.

Then there are the callbacks to Man of Steel, such as Superman saying “I’m not going to snap your neck, I’m taking you to prison.” Obviously referencing his “controversial” fight with Zod. Then there’s apparently going to be a fight with Doomsday in which one General Swanswick will note that Superman will take the fight away from heavily populated areas, cause that’s what people do. Yep.

It should be noted that the source is a script that was drafted a month before the movie started filming. Things may have changed since then.
