Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens 30 years after the events of The Return of the Jedi. Luke Skywalker has gone into seclusion and the remnants of the Galactic Empire are alive and well in the new guise of the First Order. Many of the heroes from the original trilogy such as Han Solo, Princess Leia, C-3PO and Chewbacca continue fighting as members of the Resistance. Joining them are new allies, Poe Dameron, Finn, Rey and BB-8. They’ll have their hands full against the powerful forces of the First Order which count Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma among its members.
