James McAvoy: “I’m going bald in X-Men: Apocalypse”

While I’d be a liar to say I didn’t love James McAvoy as Charles (Profossor X) Xavier in the last two X-Men movies, it wouldn’t be entirely true to say I would like his to be a bit less hairy. You know, like Patrick Stewart.

But, speaking with The Huffington Post, the actor confessed that that will all change in X-Men: Apocalypse: “I’ll be older in this one [and] I think I’m losing my hair finally.”

So there it is, Professor X will look a bit closer to the man we know from the comics this time out. That’s pretty cool.

Bryan Singer returns to direct the film from a script by Simon Kinberg, Mike Dougherty, and Dan Harris. X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 27, 2016.

Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife.
