Harley Quinn and Deadshot AKA Margot Robbie and Will Smith have been chatting some more about David Ayer’s Suicide Squad.

“With this character and the DC world,” says Smith, “I love that I’m getting the opportunity for the global definition of Deadshot,

“There’s been Deadshot in little appearances here and there, there’s an idea, but Deadshot isn’t defined, really. I get to be a part of the creation that will be the biggest historical image of Deadshot.”

Margot Robbie described Harley as “Rad” and said she’d be very keen to play her in several movies…

Meanwhile, Jared Leto has been talking about playing perhaps comics’ most famous villain… The Joker in the movie: “The opportunity to take on this nearly Shakespearean character — that’s what graphic novels and comic books are becoming, right?

“[He’s] this beautiful disaster of a character — what a big challenge.”

Curiously, although not specifying that it was for the Joker role, Leto seems to be eating for a new role: “Do you mind if I eat a little? I’m trying to gain a lot of weight. It means I have to eat every couple of hours — and I’m terrible at eating a lot.”

We’re pondering if this is so the Joker in this movie will be a more muscular and imposing character, physically? Or, perhaps, it’s nothing to do with The Suicide Squad at all…

Feel free to ponder along with us in the usual ways.
