Well, just when you thought Mallrats 2 was exciting enough – and we do – it seems that director/writer Kevin Smith is really hoping to get the whole team together… and, the best news of all, Brodie Bruce – Jason Lee – and Renee – Shannen Doherty are back!
After Smith shared the image above of himself (Silent Bob ), Jason Mewes (Jay), Stan Lee (himself) and Michael Rooker (Mr Svenning) we knew four of the team were back but – as much as we love that four, they aren’t the backbone of the story.
Lo and behold, Smith, on his Facebook page has shared the return of two of the principals, Shannen Doherty and Jason Lee as Brodie and Rene.
Firstly he posted the image below of Shannen with the following test:

Next, he posted the image of Lee with the words:
“Saaayyy… Would YOU like a chocolate covered pretzel?” BRODIE IS BACK! So by the end of this year, Jason Lee is coming to the MALL, ya’ll! 6 down, 6 to go! Collect ’em all! #Mallrats2
