We’re not totally sold on the idea of an Independence Day sequel but we love the fact that now pretty much everyone is back. Well, except for Will Smith.
The latest additions announced by director and creator of the original movie Roland Emmerich, via Twitter, are none other than the great Judd Hirsch and, em, Bill Pullman as Julius Levinson and Ex(?)President Thomas Whitmore respectively.
So that means Hirsch and Pllman will join Jeff Goldblum, Vivica A. Fox, Jessie A. Usher, Liam Hemsworth, and Charolette Gainsbourg in the alien fighting sequel.
Independence Day 2 invades on June 24th, 2016.
