So we got our first look at the new Jumanji cast (above) and now we’re getting new casting news, videos and a supposed plot secret revealed?

Mashable’s Jeff Sneider Tweeted (below): “JUMANJI sequel said to follow 4 teens in detention who get sucked into the game, where they take on new “avatar” forms to locate a jewel.”

Woah, what?

So the characters above are probably not who the seem? At all? Could this have something to do with Karen Gillan’s comments about her revealing attire last week when she said it’ll make sense in the movie?

Perhaps she is really a perhaps Tomb Raider obsessed ‘he’ in the movie? We’re hearing that Jack Black may be a girl in the real world (in the movie universe, of course): “Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan play the avatars of the kids actually playing the Jumanji game in the film. The new four will playing said kids – Blain is represented by Dr. Smolder Bravestone (Johnson), Madison Iseman is Moose Finbar (Hart), Alex Wolff is Ruby Roundhouse (Gillan) and Turner is Professor Shelly Oberon (Black).”

We’re also hearing that Alex Wolff, Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman and Morgan Turner have joined the cast of the sequel to the Robin Williams original.

If you scroll beyond the tweet you’ll find some video from the set of the movie. And we’re not at all jealous if how fun it all looks.

Jumanji is slated for release on July 28th 2017.

Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
