After all the speculation, it looks like Star Trek 3 finally has an official title…
Fast & Furious director Justin Lin has Tweeted the first official image (below) from the movie – a Star Fleet uniform patch and, while it looks pretty cool and everything, it was the message that really made the biggest news:

So, it looks like it really will be the beginning of the five year mission, new life and new civilisations. And called Star Trek: Beyond
Cool.
Star Trek Beyond stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin and John Cho and Idris Elba. It’s directed by Justin Lin and is set to enter Earth’s atmosphere on July 8th, 2016.
