So, it’s no secret that we at FTN – and the rest of the world, it seems – want a Dredd sequel.
And we occasionally get our hopes built up with talk of movies and even TV shows, but nothing concrete yet.
Until now.
Maybe.
At the 2016 Denver Comic Con, Dredd himself, Karl Urban, was doing a Q&A and he was – obviously – asked if Dredd 2 is happening.
His reply? “[it’s] … in development.”
Now, we can’t stress enough that this doesn’t mean a Dredd sequel is definitely happening, but rather a story is being worked on with a hope that maybe something can come of it.
However, with Urban constantly championing it and the fan’s desire more than obvious, we hope – and believe – that sooner or later Dredd will return. In one form or another.
