Keanu Reeves has joined the cast of Toy Story 4

November 22nd, 2018 by Marc Comments

Well, we know that Tony Hale, Jordan Peele and Keegan Michael-Key have joined the cast of Toy Story 4 as Forky, Ducky and Bunny and now we have another exciting name to add to the list… Keanu Reeves!

Yes, it seems that Ted/Neo/John Wick has joined the cast of the upcoming Disney/Pixar sequel.

Buzz lightyear star Tim Allen revealed on Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show last night that the actor has signed on.

“Keanu Reeves has got a great part,” Allen said.

“Actually, a little inside story, even [Reeves] said — gentle, wonderful guy that he is — ‘This sounds too much like Buzz Lightyear.’ And his character does have an edge to that. And the guy said, ‘So we calmed him down a little bit,’ and they reminded me his toy is only that big.”

Hmmmmmmmm…. mysterious.

Allen also seems to imply the character is pretty small – watch and you’ll see what we mean – so we’re thinking the size of a small action figure? And he’s a space man?

We can’t wait to see who he’s playing.

Any thoughts?

Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy. Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date?”) and produced by Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”) and Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”),

Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” ventures to U.S. theaters on June 21, 2019.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
