The Bill & Ted trilogy may be close to completing if Ted Theodore Logan Esq is to be believed.
Yes, Keanu Reeves, enjoying his new John Wick fame, has been talking about the third movie in the series about two time-travelling rock stars and seems confident that it’s going to happen: “We’re a little closer. We’re a little closer,” the actor said.
“There’s now talk of contracts and maybe paying the writers to go and write. There might be some support for making the picture,” we know there’s definitely support here at FTN Towers and our readers seem quite keen too – right?
But what about the first two movies? Reeves talked about them and what worked in them: “I think the first three-quarters of Bogus Journey are pretty great. But you can’t have that without the first one, right? And the first one is so naive and sweet; and the second one has evil Bill and Ted. They’re pretty funny.”
Is that perhaps a clue about the third movie? “I don’t know… there’s something else. There’s always a sense of travel in these pictures – they do have a time machine…”
Bill & Ted 3 is something we’re curiously excited for here at FTN HQ. Are we on our own?
