If there’s one good thing to come out of all this lockdown nonsense, it’s realising how connected the internet can really make us.
And proving that we don’t have to just fight online over politics, movies and, well, anything is a good thing.
And now one of our favourite nerdy-people, Kevin Smith is set to host a watch-along party of his second movie, Mallrats.
Focus films started Focus Movie Mondays last Monday, streaming Gosfard Park.
This Monday, April 13th, they will be on their Facebook page streaming Moonrise Kingdom with director Wes Anderson answering questions during the event.
Then on April 20th, Smith will be on the page to stream a Mallrats watch party.
We all know Smith loves interacting with fans and this would seem to be a pairing made in heaven.
The livestream include a link to donate to the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s COVID-19 Response Fund.
The last one (so far) will be My Summer of Love on the 27th. No details have been announced for that one yet.
So, see you all on the Focus page on April 20th.
Snoogans.
