With Will Smith out for the upcoming Independence Day sequel, a new lead character needs to be found…well, it’s been found reportedly.
Liam Hemsworth, of Hunger Games and Expendables II fame, is set to take on the role of lead actor for the film, or at least he’s been offered the role.
Curious as to what the sequel would be about? Well here’s the “synopsis” if you will:
“It’s a parallel history. Humans rebuild whatever they have – bigger, newer, shinier – and then they forget. Maybe, 20 years later, [the aliens are] never coming back…”
