We can’t say that we haven’t been waiting for this news…
With Pixar’s output recently being, well, slightly less awesome, the fans have long hoped for a sequel to The Incredibles and, frankly, have been dismayed at some of the sequels that did get greenlit (Finding Dory!? Cars 2?!) instead of this one.
But, it looks like it may be happening after all.
Last year Disney’s Bob Iger said that Brad Bird would be working on a sequel and now writer/director Bird himself has spoken on the subject. Chatting with NPR, Bird said: “I’m just staring to write it, so we’ll see what happens.”
So, not a lot of detail but we know this… The Incredibles 2 is officially on the to-do-list at Pixar.
