With Batman Day being over the weekend, we got two cool bits of fun for fans looking forward to Matt Reeves’ The Batman movie.
First up, writer/director Reeves shared an image of him in the editing suite, working on the movie which is due next year and will have a new trailer at DC Fandome 2 next month.
In the tweet, Reeves wrote: “Wow, I have been away so long…! Just popping my head out of the editing room for a moment to say #HappyBatmanDay ! Can’t wait to share a lot more with you all four weeks from today at #DCFanDome !”
However, the new look at Batman, which we’ve cleaned up for you, left, isn’t the only cool bit of new from the highly anticipated movie.
On the same day, composer Michael Giacchino shared a listen to his new Batman theme from the movie and, while we got a glimse of it in the first trailer (here), this is a clear sample of the score and I can already tell this will have a space on my CD shelf beside my Elfman and Zimmer DC stuff.
Here’s the tweet with the new look at Robert Pattinson’s Batman as shared by director Matt Reeves:
Wow, I have been away so long…! Just popping my head out of the editing room for a moment to say #HappyBatmanDay ! Can’t wait to share a lot more with you all four weeks from today at #DCFanDome ! (Sorry about the messy desk #LongHours) #TheBatman @TheBatman pic.twitter.com/ye0u1xQo65

And here’s the snippet from Giacchino’s score which sounds absolutely amazing:
