It’s been no secret that, after the awesome ending of Split, M Night Shyamalan has been moving forward with the sequel to one of his first – and best – movies, Unbreakable (here).
And now the writer/director has dropped a load of awesome news on his twitter (full stream below).
Firstly, he has confirmed that the principal cast from the first two movies will be returning: Bruce Willis as David Dunn, Samuel L Jackson as Elijah Price, James McAvoy as Kevin Crumb (and others) and Split’s breakout star Anna Taylor Joy as Casey Cook.
He also confirmed that the movie will be released on January 18th, 2019 worldwide and will be called Glass. This fits in with the motif of the other two movies and also alludes to Samuel L Jackson’s ‘super villain identity’ in Unbreakable: Mr Glass.
So Unbreakable, Split and Glass: the M Night Shyamalan comic book trilogy is officially a thing now.
Man, we are so excited for this one.
Isn’t it great to have Shyamalan back? Yeah it is.
Okay. Here we go. Finished the new script.
