Well, it looks like Kevin Smith has used his Facebook page to reveal the title of Mallrats 2...

Mallbrats. Love it.

Smith posted the page above – the cover of the first draft with the message: “IT’S MALL OR NOTHING!20 years in the making. 113 pages fulla old friends, new jokes and a bloody battle with Stan Lee! This is for you, Jim. Wish you were here… #MallBrats”

So there you have it… get ready for Mallbrats.

In other Smith news, the actor has revealed why Silent  Bob is so, well, silent: “Really why Silent Bob is silent was because Jason [Mewes] talks a lot. It was that simple. I wanted to get Jason in a movie, but I didn’t want him to stand there by himself just talking or talking to a random passerby, so I was like we could have a buddy that stands there, who’s essentially his sounding board, who he just talks at all the time.”

Smith was talking at Zanies Comedy Club during the recent Wild West Comedy Festival when he revealed the secret. Not as exciting as we hoped but it makes sense, really…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
