Well…this is happening.
The next Smurfs movie, which will be a fully animated feature film, not a 3D hybrid like the last two movies, has now cast well known actor Mandy Patinkin to voice Papa Smurf.
Despite mixed reviews, the previous Smurfs movies have done well in the box office. It will be curious to see how a fully animated movie (much like the original TV show no doubt) will do once it releases August 5, 2016.
