Writer/director Matt Reeves has found his Catwoman for the upcoming The Batman movie (trilogy potentially).
Big Little Lies and X-Men First Class star Zoe Kravitz has been signed on to play Selina Kyle opposite Robert Pattinson’s Batman/Bruce Wayne in the new movie and will also join Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon.
The movie is set to begin filming next year with the movie set for release on June 25th, 2021.
Kravitz will pick up the legacy of big screen Catwoman from Anne Hathaway, Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry.
So long as she’s better than Berry…
Kravitz certainly has the talent to play the part, but I’ll not lie, I felt Hibbs and Shaw’s Vanessa Kirby was born for the role. But I look forward to what comes next for the character.
