Model Kelly Rohrbach will play C. J. Parker in the long-awaited movie reboot of the 90s show. Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron star in the film, which will be directed by Seth Gordon. Alexandra Daddario was recently cast in the role of Summer, originally portrayed by Nicole Eggert.
The Rock posted videos on Instagram of him and Rohrbach adding a twist to the show’s classic slow-motion running scenes which we’ve posted at the bottom of the page.
Besides David Hasselhoff’s Mitch Buchannon, Anderson’s C.J. is arguably one of the most recognisable characters from the series.
This would mark Rohrbach’s biggest role to date. She previously appeared in smaller indie films and recently landed a supporting role in Woody Allen’s next pic, although is largely unknown to the wider world.
