Jovovich has played the lead character Alice in the five Resident Evil movies so far and will be calling it a day (of the dead? Sorry) in Resident Evil: The Final Chapter which will start filming in August this year.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will see characters Alice, Jill, Claire, Leon, Chris, Claire, and more infiltrate the Hive, where they must stop the Red Queen from destroying the entire human race. Paul Anderson will return to direct the film, and Wentworth Miller will reprise his role as Chris Redfield.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter arrive on September 2nd, 2016.
