With the end of the Hunger Games saga in sight, more and more pictures and trailers are coming to send it off in style. Along with a new pic (see above), some interesting tidbits seem to point to a more prominent female influence in Mockingjay Part 2. Not only will Katniss get her moments, but many more, even Effie!
“There is some serious girl power in this movie,” says director Francis Lawrence, who gives all the credit to author Suzanne Collins. “She wrote it that way, and it’s been so much fun to inhabit.”
But…don’t think this will be just an uplifting movie…
“It’s probably the most emotional of the bunch,” he says. “And I think it’s the most satisfying of the bunch.”
