Momoa: “I would play Aquaman as an anti-hero.”

July 3rd, 2014 by Marc 2 Comments

Oh god! More Jason Momoa and Aquaman news…

Ok, so everyone but Momoa seems to know he’s Aquaman in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and he’s been talking to Points of Geek via Comicbook.com about the role that he, em, isn’t playing and about how he would – if he was playing it – do it:“I think it would be really, really fun to play a superhero. You know? I’ve always talked about, like, what’s your favorite. I mean I love Lobo so… I just don’t really see myself as a superhero. Yeah, no I mean, they’re kind of written a little different. I don’t know. I just… I don’t see myself in tights a lot. And I’m more of an anti-hero if you will. In life. So, not the smiling, parading to saving the world kind of guy. Yeah, the Hulk would have been fun!”

So that’s cleared that up, then. He’s going to play him, sorry I mean he would play him, as an anti-hero.

Right, anymore Nathan Fillion is Nova rumours?

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
