Eleven has a new job…

It has been announced this week that Millie Bobby Brown, best known for portraying Eleven/Jane in Netflix’s superb Stranger Things, has been cast in the lead role in a film adaptation of the Enola Holmes Mysteries series of novels. The Enola Holmes series follows Sherlock Holmes’ teenage sister as she sets out to solve several missing persons cases and evade the attempts of elder brother Mycroft to pack her off to boarding school after their mother disappears.

Author Nancy Springer has to date written six novels in the Enola Holmes series. Legendary Entertainment will produce the movie, with producers Alex Garcia and Ali Mendes overseeing the project. Brown will also reportedly have a producer credit.

No details on filming schedule, any additional cast or crew or a title have been announced yet, but you’ll know when we do.
