The Rock certainly is keeping himself busy lately with projects. Well it seems he’s going to be busier than expected, as he’s added another film to the pile. As well as this, he is also reteaming with San Andreas director, Brad Peyton, for this project. The film in question is Rampage, an adaptation of the Midway arcade game.
Ok, I’m going to be upfront with you; I have no faith in video game films… much like everyone else. However, I do think that one day someone will crack the code and find a way to bring good adaptations of video games to the screen. It took comics a long time, but they eventually found the way.
With that being said, I don’t think this will be the film to do it. Everything about this project just seems a bit underwhelming. Let me be clear, I could be completely wrong, but as of this moment in time, the film isn’t really on my radar.
At the moment very little is known about the film’s plot. All we know so far, is that it will feature George the giant gorilla, Lizzie the dinosaur/lizard monster, and Ralph the giant werewolf – destroying major cities and landmarks in North America.
