Neil Patrick Harris joins cast of The Matrix 4

October 16th, 2019 by Marc Comments

In an unexpected bit of news, it seems Warner Bros have hired Neil Patrick Harris for a lead role in the upcoming fourth Matrix movie.

Harris’ role is so far undisclosed with us knowing very little about the movie except Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are back as Neo and Trinity while so far there’s no sign of Laurence Fishburne coming back to play Morpheus who is rumoured to be recast for a younger actor.

Aquaman star Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is also on the new cast.

Harris has never really made a dent in big screen roles, having firmly established himself as a TV star, but this could be his first proper stab at a franchise and personally, I’d love to see it with him proving he’s a lot more than just a comedy actor over the years.

Who would you like to see him play in the movie? Let me know in the usual ways, guys…
