New Batman V Superman plot details leak?

August 22nd, 2014 by Marc Comments

The guys at Batman-News got the skinny on a scene from Batman V Superman that takes place in Washington DC. And it supports a lot of what we’re hearing of the movie so far…

SPOILERS LIE WITHIN

“A major action scene was shot in July in one of the big studios in Detroit. Without giving too much away… it involves Superman and the United States Capitol building in Washington D.C. Superman will have to answer for what happened at the end of Man of Steel. Half the public blames him for all the death and destruction. If it wasn’t for Superman being there, General Zod would have never come to Earth.”

This ties in with much of the rumours we’re hearing that say Superman will very much be the outcast his dad predicted he would be in Man of Steel. And we reckon it will be this, ahem, alienation that will bring some of the Justice League together…

This movie can’t arrive soon enough.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Zack Snyder is directing.

The cast includes Man of Steel’s Henry Cavill reprising his role as Superman in the film, Ben Affleck is Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot is Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg is Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons is Alfred Pennyworth and Ray Fisher is Victor Stone/Cyborg. Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane will also reprise their roles in the sequel. Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto and Scoot McNairy have unknown roles. Jason Momoa is all but confirmed as Aquaman and rumored to appear.

It is scheduled to hit theaters in the US on March 25th, 2016. It’s not yet known if the April 29th date in UK still stands.

He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
