While we wait for a second trailer for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, continuing on from 2018’s rather wonderful Bumblebee, we have cool new character posters of the principal Robots in disguise.
First up, below, is Mirage, voiced by Pete Davison, next is Optimus Primal, voiced by Ron Perlman and finally we have the daddy of them all, Optimus Prime, voiced, once again, by the awesome Peter Cullen.
The movie really looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun and we’re excited to see how the Maximals are done on the big screen… and, to be honest, we never thought we’d see these guys on the big screen in live-action but here we are. What a time to be alive.
Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new faction of Transformer – the Maximals – to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons.
Directed by Steven Caple Jr. and starring Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback, the film arrives in theatres June 9, 2023.
Starring: Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Tobe Nwigwe, Peter Cullen, Ron Perlman, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh, Liza Koshy, John DiMaggio, David Sobolov, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Pete Davidson, Cristo Fernández
