New poster for Scream VI is really rather clever…

January 3rd, 2023 by Marc Comments

Oooooooh… we like this!

A new poster has arrived for Scream VI and it’s as clever as it is fun!

The first teaser for the new movie hit a few days ago, below, and featured the returning survivors of the last movie being stalked by (at least one) Ghostface on the New York underground, a location this new poster capitalises on, naming the stops along the way after those who have died due to Ghostface, including the killers themselves and going back as far as Maureen Prescot, mother of Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott, and the person whose murder caused the whole franchise to happen.

Oh, and we see what you did there with the closed Kirby Reid station (here), it’s very clever.

But what is the poster telling us? Is it telling us that this movie will connect all the murders/deaths in a way we don’t know about so far? Or is it just being smart and showing us how many have lost their lives due to that damned spooky face?

Whatever it is, we’re expecting the full trailer to drop very soon and we’re all sorts of excited to follow this killer to New York.

Thoughts, guys? We want to hear them…

Following the latest Ghostface killings, the four survivors leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter. In Scream VI, Melissa Barrera (“Sam Carpenter”), Jasmin Savoy Brown (“Mindy Meeks-Martin”), Mason Gooding (“Chad Meeks-Martin”), Jenna Ortega (“Tara Carpenter”), Hayden Panettiere (“Kirby Reed”) and Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) return to their roles in the franchise alongside Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving.
