We just reported that the Aquaman movie is pretty close to casting Black Manta and now we have another interesting piece of casting news…
Nicole Kidman is reported to be in talks to star as Arthur Curry’s (Aquaman) mother in the movie.
You may remember Kidman was allegedly set to star in Wonder Woman a while ago but it then turned out not to be so… well, maybe there was some truth to the rumour only for a different movie in the DC Cinematic universe.
Kidman is certainly a big name and Aquaman is building an expressive cast so far.

The Aquaman movie has already cast Jason Momoa in the lead role, along with Amber Heard as Mera, Queen of Atlantis, Willem Dafoe scientist Dr Vulko and Patrick Wilson as Orm, Aquaman’s half-brother and villain. It will Black Manta.
