With The Expendables 3 drawing closer, expectations are high and the question of more is in the air… will we see more? Who else will be in it? Well, one Irish actor has put his keys in the bowl…
Pierce Brosnan, old James Bond himself, has been chatting about appearing in, presumably, the fourth movie and admits to Coming Soon that there’s some talk: “I said to [producer] Avi Lerner, ‘If it works out and you have a good script, Avi, you know where to find me if you still want me.’ It’s as simple as that really. I had a grand time in his company. Sylvester Stallone is the one that’s given us these wonderful platforms for actors who have and had careers to go play and have fun and to entertain. To bring a bunch of guys together who saved the world, fought the bad guys and put them all on the same stage, that’s crazy good.
“Yeah, I’d love to do ‘The Expendables.’ It’s just a kick in the pants.”
Returning for the Patrick Hughes directed sequel are Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews and Arnold Schwarzenegger, with new additions Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Harrison Ford, Kellan Lutz, Glen Powell, Kelsey Grammer, MMA star Ronda Rousey, welterweight boxing champion Victor Ortiz and Mel Gibson.
The Expendables 3 explodes into theaters on August 15th, 2014.
