UPDATE is at the bottom of the page

Well, here it is… the one we’ve all been waiting for; the poster for  Fast & Furious 8. Oh, wait, sorry, it’s the fracking Point Break remake poster.

Sigh.

Yes, Warners have released the poster for the movie which is a remake of my all-time favourite action movie. And completely pointless.

Oh and here’s two images of the leads – Edgar Ramirez and Bodhi and Luke Bracey as Johnny Utah. In case you’re interested.

This new version of the extreme sports criminals action-thriller finds Luke Bracey taking over the Johnny Utah role once occupied by Keanu Reeves, while Edgar Ramirez slips on the wetsuit as Bodhi, formerly played by Patrick Swayze. Once more, Utah is an FBI agent in way over his head, working undercover with a group of thrill-seekers who also like to pull off staggering crimes.

Point Break is directed by Ericson Core and also features Teresa Palmer, Ray Winstone, Delroy Lindo and Tobias Santelmann. It lands in the US on Christmas Day and the UK on January 8, 2016.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
