Latino Review’s Umberto Gonzalez is reporting on Instagram that Fast & Furious 8 may revolve around the character of Monica Fuentes, played by Eva Mendes.
Fuentes was first introduced in 2 Fast 2 Furious and then returned in the fifth movie, so given the universe that exists within these movie, we’d say this is probably a pretty possible scenario.
Just for the record though, we really want to see the return of Carter Verone, played by Cole Hauser in the second movie. He did, after all, swear he would come back and have revenge on Brian and Roman and, even though Paul Walker is gone, Verone could certainly come after Roman… and with the return of Mendes, we might see it happen.
