Get ready for the new daily show

So, em yeah, Wesley Snipes IS in The Expendables 3

August 25th, 2013 by Marc Comments

There’s been much speculation recently about whether or not Wesley Snipes would be appearing in The Expendables 3… well, it looks like the speculation is over…

The guys at CBM posted images from the Daily Mail’s onsite visit earlier this week and grabbed images of the cast (which can be seen here) but most interesting of all was a pic of the cast all covered in blood… a cast that included Blade himself. Pretty cool, huh?

Press release:

Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables — but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.

EXPENDABLES 3 – Patrick Hughes (“Red Hill”) will direct the film, from a screenplay written by Creighton Rothenberger, Katrin Benedikt and Sylvester Stallone. The cast features: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Terry Crews and Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to their roles. Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford join the all-star cast along with Kellan Lutz, MMA star Ronda Rousey, welterweight boxing champion Victor Ortiz and Glen Powell. It shoots into theaters August 15, 2014.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
