Sony developing a Madame Web movie…

September 28th, 2019 by Marc Comments

Now, given all the hijinks going on between Sony and Marvel with Spider-man, this is a very interesting bit of news.

Morbius writers Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless are to bring Madame Web into the Sony Spider-man cinematic universe.

For those who don’t know, Madame Web is (usually) Cassandra Webb, a blind woman who is crippled with a chronic neuromuscular disease who uses technology to stay alive and with all the cables and tubes, they tend to look like, you guessed it, a web.

Now, on top of all this she’s a powerful clairvoyant character who can see into the Spider-verse and all the realities around that.

Are Sony looking to pull together the Morbius and Venom live-action movies along with the animated Spider-verse and – gasp! – the MCU?

Now, wouldn’t that be a thing?

Let me know your thoughts.
