While we know that Matt Reeves’ upcoming The Batman is a standalone movie, with a new Batman and a new universe (well, not counting the fact that the DC movies are now part of a multiverse), we have been wondering just how much of the rest of the DC universe exists in the movie.
By this, I mean does Superman exist? Is there a Wonder Woman? Might we ever see this Batman in a Justice League and now it seems we have an answer.
Well, sort of.
Recent images from the movie’s filming in England have appeared online and they feature a host of other DC Characters.
Now, this got initial chat online going… were these actual heroes in the movie?! Well, no.
It seems that the images are from a scene in the movie that takes place during Halloween – a long Halloween, perhaps? – but surely having people dressed as Superman, Wonder Woman and Cheetah (we already know that Batman and Catwoman are in this movie, well, obviously) confirms they do exist somewhere in this movie’s universe?
