David Tennant did some voice work in Clone Wars, so it’s not totally out of the norm to have a Doctor Who legend in Star Wars, but hell, Baker is a true, honest to goodness legend!
The actor, who played the fourth Doctor, was at the Day of the Doctors convention in Slough last weekend and told the audience that he was heading into space again, only this time it was a long, long time ago…. appropriate, really:
“I’m going to be in this new Star Wars thing, you know? “I’m going down to recording some voices for this new character they’ve created for me, very soon.”
It’s not clear if he means for the movies or Rebels, but we’re reckoning it’s more than likely Rebels… but either wasy, having him in the Star Wars universe is very, very cool.
