Dan Brown’s Infinity to Start Shooting in April and gives us more conspiracy from Sony.

Sony Pictures and Imagine Entertainment have confirmed an April start date for Inferno, the third film based on the Dan Brown novel series that began with The Da Vinci Code. The studio has a closed deals with Tom Hanks to reprise his role as Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, for Ron Howard to direct and Brian Grazer to produce. David Koepp is confirmed to be on scriptwriting duties.

The previous instalment of the Langdon franchise, 2009’s Angels & Demons, grossed $486 million worldwide. In Inferno, Langdon finds himself in an Italian hospital, suffering from amnesia. He teams up with his doctor, Sienna Brooks, to try to recover his memory and prevent a madman from releasing a global plague that is somehow connected to Dante’s Inferno.
