To be clear, this isn’t another animated short like Toy Story of Terror, this is a full fledged movie.
Bob Iger, the Disney CEO revealed that the movie is indeed going to be made, and John Lasseter will once again direct. Toy Story is already famous for being the movie that not only true set Pixar path to greatness, but is the only franchise to ever have three movies set in its universe. Now it will have four, and again that doesn’t include the two shorts that have been made as well.
It’s unconfirmed whether the entire Toy Story cast will return…but you have to believe they will. Or at least the cast that was in Toy Story 3.
Toy Story 4 is said to be released in 2017.
