The Stath is back in a remake of Heat (no not that one) “Heat” the 1986 action-thriller starring Burt Reynolds. The remake directed by Simon West (Con Air) the film now called “Wild Card”
The film stars Jason Statham as a recovering gambling addict finds work providing protection to his friends. The movie also stars Stanley Tucci, Sofía Vergara, Milo Ventimiglia, Michael Angarano and Anne Heche.
Statham is currently filming the sequel to another remake he made, Mechanic 2 Resurrection over in Thailand, will appear as the villain in Furious 7 and in Spy with Melissa McCarthy in 2015.
Wild Card is set to be released on December 7, 2014
