A new TV show, Damien, is a direct sequel to the classic horror film, The Omen. A trailer has been officially released for the show that ties the two directly together.

Damien follows the adult life of Damien Thorn (played by Bradley James). Damien is the child from the 1976 film, The Omen, who has grown up unaware that he is indeed the Anti-Christ. Ann Rutledge (played by Barbara Hershey) is the most powerful woman in the world that is tasked with making sure Damien fulfills his destiny. Amani Golkar (Omid Abtahi), is a close friend of Damien’s whose morality and loyalty will be tested when he realizes who his friend Damien is. Simone Baptiste (Meganlyn Echikunwoke) is a woman whose life takes an unexpected turn for the worse when she’s forced to deal with a tragedy. Glen Mazzara (The Walking Dead) is credited as the show-runner.

Damien premieres on A&E on March 7th at 10 PM/EST after Bates Motel.
